Elderly suffer from knee pain due to Age related Degeneration of Knee & Hip Muscles,  Age related,  osteoarthritis,  Sedentary lifestyle Leading to Weight gain,  Knee replacement surgeries. They need support  while sitting as they tend to fall into the chair seat. While Standing also they need support of seat armrest or knees in initial phases.  With so many painful actions they become vulnerable to falls and injuries. Mobius OrthoAssist project was to develop an Assistive Device for Sitting and for Standing to improve the Quality of Life of the elderly.
