Development of an ultra-sensitive rapid point-of-care diagnostic test (lateral flow cassette), for the detection of multispecies malaria infection at low density, using existing high affinity anti-pLDH monoclonal antibodies (mAbs generated outside the BIG project).

During the BIG project, the multispecies cassette testing will be done using WHO International standards, WHO manufacturers panel, FIND malaria panels and Negative samples to establish the test’s limit of detection and specificity.
